Today, I added 200 shares of Artis REIT (TSE:AX.UN) at $12.13 to my HELOC account.
I am currently holding 500 shares at an average price of $12.88.
Stock Trade Commentary
I decided to add 200 shares to my REIT position in my HELOC account as I could not find any reason to justify the sell off in AX.UN. With the latest addition, my position is now complete and I do not envision adding anymore shares. ??Artis is currently yielding almost 9%. Artis has a lot of cash on hand and is looking to deploy the money into new acquisitions. This is theoretically a long term hold for the income; it is well diversified across real estate sectors and geographically with about 13% exposure to the US.
