Monthly Review

Another turbulent month ends. My portfolio seems to have tracked the index last month in terms of losses. No trades were executed in June since I was on vacation. In mid-June markets rallied somewhat and the TSX went briefly above 12000, however I was not aware of what was going on since I did not have internet access. This could have been an opportunity to sell at least 1 or 2 stocks at profit.

The yearly performance is still good compared to the index and now that I am back I am looking forward to continue the fight. The markets are jittery and it seems some people are expecting a double dip. As much as I would not like to see a repeat of May, to be honest I will not mind it too much since my line of credit is ready and I will take advantage of any major price corrections. In the end the markets will have to move up since the economy will improve sooner or later and I have all my time to wait if needed.

How has your portfolio done so far this year?
