Argentina’s Emerging Shale Oil and Gas Play

My friend and colleague Keith Schaefer, editor of the Oil and Gas Investments Bulletin, recently published a 2 part series on Argentina that I highly recommend (written by yours truly). Argentina has a mature petroleum industry yet its proven basins are underexplored and underexploited. While the country’s oil and gas shale potential is truly massive, this play is still in its early days. A handful of Canadian based junior companies are positioned to reap the rewards as major players move in to secure land in the Neuquén basin and early results confirm the prolific potential of its Vaca Muerta shale.

Enjoy!
