North American Oil Plays
Alberta's Cardium formation is one of Canada's hottest resource plays with light oil reserves exceeding 10 billion barrels!
The Alberta Bakken is an emerging light oil play that covers a large area across Southern Alberta and Northern Montana that potentially holds as much oil as the North Dakota Bakken Shale (500 billion barrels).
Alberta's Slave Point formation oil play in the Greater Red Earth area has an estimated 1 billion barrels of Original Oil in Place.
